Everything discussed in our focus groups or interviews is kept strictly confidential and at no time will anyone attempt to sell you anything as a result of your participation in a focus group or survey.

EMS maintains maximum security of your data at all stages of our market research process. We use secure file-sharing and data transmission methods and satisfy the standard requirements of local laws and regulations.
Everyone working for EMS is bound by a nondisclosure agreement, including our full-time employees and our independent contractors. Your information and materials will never be shared with anyone outside of the specific individuals assigned to work on your project.
The entire EMS staff receives security and data awareness training This means that all full-time employees, from associate to executive, are compliant with company-wide security protocols and responsibilities.
EMS takes seriously your need for confidentiality and ensures all data is handled securely. Access to your files is only granted to individuals who have specific business needs (project managers, moderators, interviewers, translators). All client data is transferred via secure file transfer protocols and encrypted when data is being stored. EMS has physical and logical procedures in place so that all digital and paper records are secured. All critical systems and servers are based in North America and accessible only by authorized staff.
EMS uses only software that is currently supported and updated by the developer. Our data redundancy plans mean your data is secure in case of disaster while we minimize operational disruptions.
EMS retains client project data for 36 months unless otherwise requested. After that period all data is automatically and securely deleted from our servers. Other data, such as signed contracts and financial ledgers, is kept for 7 years or as required by law. All contractors are required to securely delete files from any personal equipment within 30-days after project completion or less depending on client requirements.
